POSITION STATEMENT

Our goal is to help people regain their health as quickly as possible and with lasting effect. Our training is focused on helping our patient’s body’s re-attain normal function. We understand very well, and likewise try to educate our patients, that there is a difference between re-attaining health through normal function vs. blocking symptoms through the use of painkillers and drugs.

Usually when health problems arise, the body is malfunctioning somewhere. The focus of this clinic is to identify the malfunction, employ the most effective remedy to restore normal function and observe as health returns. We employ natural treatment methods that are effective and have less chance of side effects. This includes chiropractic care, sports injury treatment, nutritional consultation, and evaluations of the patient’s lifestyle, diet, environment, etc… as all of these issues may have a bearing on the patients overall health picture.

Attaining a healthy body cannot come without effort provided by the patient. The word physician means teacher, thus it is the doctor’s duty to help his patients learn how to regain and maintain their health. It is the patient’s duty to put forth effort themselves to re-attain their health. It is critical that patients are compliant with the recommended care by keeping their appointments and making the necessary changes in their lifestyle. If an appointment cannot be met we request that our patients at least have the courtesy to call ahead of time and reschedule, so that their appointment time can be given to another patient. Our motto is, “We’ll break our backs to fix yours”, and we mean it. But too often we work patients into our lunch breaks and after hours for emergency cases when there is no time left on the appointment book, only to have other patients no-show for their regular office hour appointments.

Many chronic spinal problems arise from injury, but most other chronic health problems are due to poor lifestyle choices and thus are preventable. If the body isn’t too excessively damaged these conditions will often respond favorably given the right direction through natural healing. We pride ourselves in being well versed in the most current natural treatment protocols available. We also realize that there are limits in effectiveness to each type of treatment discipline, including natural healing. We also realize that there is no doctor who knows everything. If we determine that your treatment needs would best be served by another treatment discipline, then a referral to the appropriate provider will be made.

Available in this office here is an abundance of educational materials, which explain the various treatments for a host of health problems. If a certain topic interests you, please ask for information regarding your concerns for your health or the health of someone you know. We will attempt to thoroughly explain how these concerns can best be addressed.
